First Mile Club exists for the person who has tried to start running three times and quit three times. We have been there, gasping behind a fence so the neighbors would not see, convinced everyone else was born able to do this.
We are not coaches barking splits. We are ordinary people who figured out that running rewards patience far more than effort, and we write the guides we wish we had when we started.
Everything here assumes you are starting from zero and have a real life with knees that complain and mornings that are hard. The goal is not a marathon. The goal is becoming someone who runs, and staying that way.
